Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano swapped the Nou Camp for a beach in Ibiza as he looks to recharge his batteries ahead of the new season.
The 29-year-old, who recently had to apologise after appearing to kick a medic during Argentina's 1-1 World Cup qualifying draw with Ecuador which saw him receive a red card, looked totally relaxed as he walked along the beach with wife Fernanda.
Barcelona will be looking to defend their La Liga title in the upcoming season and Mascherano has been an integral part of why they were able to wrestle the crown back from Real Madrid - his adaptability proved key to the success.
